Ma. Arnebelle Dela Cruz Hidalgo is a Filipino singer and recording artist. She is famous as Arnee Hidalgo orArnee and considered as one of the Philippines’ most talented RnB singers. Because of her rendition of Cold Summer Nights, she was titled as the Philippines’ RnB Siren on 2003.

Arnee Hidalgo was born on November 10, 1981 to Mr. Arnulfo Hidalgo and Mrs. Belinda Dela Cruz. Among the four children, she was the second and the only girl of the family. Her brothers are Jeffrey Hidalgo (eldest) who was a premier balladeer and composer and two younger brothers namely: Aaron and Gian. She is already married to Yancy Shoaf, a businessman and mothered Andre Gabriel and Samuel.

As for her grade school studies, she studied at St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina until her first year in high school. She then transferred and finished secondary education at Philippine Science High School. On 1998, she took up BS Mathematics in a prestigious college, Ateneo de Manila. However, she stopped when she decided to marry and care her husband and two very cute children. After the birth of the Sam, she resolved to finish her degree and proceeded to BSBA Finance at Southville International School where she maintained her scholastic records.

Jeffrey Hidalgo’s sister made her big break when she brought home the honor for the country after winning the Silver Price and awarded as the “Most Beautiful Contestant” during Voice of Asia 2002 Singing Competition which was held at Kazakhstan.

On 2003, Arnee released her debut album entitled Cold Summer Nights underUniversal Records. The album became an instant hit and this can be proven in the success of her songs being played in different airwaves. The carrier single entitled Cold Summer Nights was a remake which originally sung by Francis M.

In spite of her achievement, Arnee suddenly disappeared in the spotlight. Her immediate disappearance left the people asking “What happened?”.

According to her, she had her hiatus from the industry when she got pregnant and married to Yancy. Yancy was her first boyfriend and it is such a disappointing news for the public to know about her pregnancy or her marriage. That is why, during the release of her album, her status was never been aired. Though there is misunderstanding about the matter, it was settled calmly by the couple upon realizing that it is important for her career.

Arnee re-emerged from her hiatus with another pop-flavored RnB album entitledYou Got It All. It was produced by Arnee and Jeffrey under its own label,Musiclink Record Productions and was distributed under Star Records for nationwide release on 2006. This 12-track album carries the title track, a revival from The Jets and enjoyed airplays from radio stations nationwide. Other cuts include 9 other revivals and 2 originals.

On April 2008, Star Records launched of Arnee’s You Got It All Deluxe Edition CD Album. Songs I Try, Summertime, Again and How Do You Heal A Broken Heart was added to her latest album.
